Ronnie Garcia is a queer Puerto Rican illustrator with experience in comics, visual development, and mentoring through interactive workshops. With a range of storytelling experience from middle-grade to YA, their signature talent involves designing creatures of the tooth variety. When they're not drawing pictures or working with young artists, they can be found reading books and dreaming of the sea. They live in Georgia with their fish, shrimp, and three moss balls.

Long Bio

Eisner winning artist Ronnie Garcia is an illustrator and comic artist represented by Pete Ryan of Stimola Literary. With a range of storytelling experience from middle-grade to YA, their signature talent involves designing creatures of the tooth variety.

They have illustrated for several independent anthologies, books, and are currently working on the graphic novel Saving Chupie with writer Amparo Ortiz to be published by HarperCollins (set to release in 2022). Aside from freelance work, they are also a part-time teacher and mentor for young artists in their community. When they're not drawing pictures or working with their students, Ronnie can be found reading books and dreaming of the sea. They live in Georgia with their fish, shrimp, and three moss balls.
